Brian James is the Chief Client Officer and President of Consumer Goods & Services for Maru/Matchbox. Brian’s main focus is driving the client strategy and delivery across the client vertical go-to-market structure for Maru/Matchbox North America.
Before joining Maru/Matchbox, Brian held a variety of leadership roles at Kantar Millward Brown for over 10 years, including President of the Brand & Communications business in North America. In addition, Brian opened and grew the Chicago office in 2008, expanded to leading the Midwest in 2012 and then the broader Western Region in 2014. In 2017, Brian took charge as President of the North American Flagship business. Throughout his leadership roles at Millward Brown, Brian established a track record of success, with his teams repeatedly scoring among the best in terms of employee and client satisfaction and growing key client relationships such as PepsiCo, MillerCoors, SC Johnson, ABInbev, Beam Suntory and Kimberly Clark.
