MARU/VCR&C Names David Gardner Managing Director of San Francisco Office, Technology & Retail Practice

Research expert to lead team of consultants in developing both technology and retail markets thought leadership and enhancing client collaboration 

SAN FRANCISCO – (SEPTEMBER 21, 2016) – MARU/VCR&C, a leading innovator in the use of technology and insight communities for market research, announced today that it has named David Gardner as Managing Director and head of its San Francisco-based Technology & Retail Practice group.

Gardner joined MARU/VCR&C through the acquisition of Vision Critical’s Research & Consulting business, where he was a leading research consultant for nearly 10 years, providing strategic analysis and insights to clients across the Retail, Technology, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Healthcare, and Luxury Goods sectors. Over the course of his career, he has worked with many of the world’s top brands, including PepsiCo, Wal-Mart, Saks Fifth Avenue, Gap Inc., and Snapchat, and has consistently produced actionable results for clients in product innovation, brand management, omnichannel optimization, and market and customer understanding.
